Back in town for a week and this place was our first stop. Still an absolutely killer bagel, I get the Back 2 Life on garlic and onion with sausage/bacon and add cream cheese and it's guaranteed to hit the spot. This will always be a go to of ours. Killer food, killer service, and great music that makes it a great sit down place as well!

Stop by before going home. Walk in and it was crowded inside. Small bagel shop. I got the lox bagel with everything bagel $13! Not too bad. It was a good amount of cream cheese, bread lightly toasted. I would come back again. My sis in law got the back to life breakfast sandwich. It came with bacon, sausage, eggs, and hash brown. I think that sandwich was $12 only! Come check it out!!

We turned a long weekend into a trip up the Eastern Sierras on the 395. Here we are in South Lake Tahoe on a Fall Sunday. We looked up bagels shops on Yelp and this one looked the best, so we stopped in. The place has a fun vibe to it (I bought a tshirt). The open air kitchen and bagel prep complimented by adequate seating/standing plus all the local stickers, flyers, and photos along with the owners photos of New York culture make you feel like you're in a cool locals place. We both ordered Fall themed Lattes with extra shots of espresso (exquisite) and two egg breakfast bagels (delicious and filling) which you could see being cooked on a griddle in the open kitchen.

Date: Monday, November 4th, 2024 Time: around 10:15am Party of: 2 Meal: Breakfast / Brunch Takeaway *Spec Bagel - Lox: Cold smoked Nova lox, cream cheese, red onion, capers, dill, Pesto Spinach EVERYTHING Bagel ($13) *Back 2 Life: Bacon, Sausage, with cheese, over eggs with a hashbrown and a dash of hot sauce, Everything Bagel ($11) The hubby was out running an errand. He was originally gonna grab breakfast from another spot, but it was closed, so he stopped by Tahoe Bagel Company instead. (I was craving a bagel and lox and there were only so many places offering this.) I adore an everything bagel. When I saw they had a spinach pesto version, I had to give it a try. I liked the added pesto flavor, but didn't get much spinach. It was fine as that may have been too many different flavors going on. The bagel had a great chew. The filling to bread ratio was good as well. The lox had a nice salty smokiness. Definitely satisfied my craving. The hubs seemed to enjoy his egg and meat bagel sandwich. It also had a generous amount of filling. Great spot to grab a bagel or a bagel sando. They have a nice varied selection. REVIEW #3616

Locals and visitors agree that Tahoe Bagel is the spot. New Jersey style bagels! Exceptional variety! They also have great bagelwich! Ran into a cool group of South Lake Tahoe junior hockey players! On this particular day I had a double toasted everything bagel with crispy bacon and lox spread, red onions, avocado and capers! I also enjoyed the size medium, medium roast black drip coffee! We also had an egg everything bagel toasted with butter and a medium mocha! You can order online in advance or walk up. Outside pick up is available! If you order online or in person be clear about your order if you are particular and they are happy to accommodate! I highly recommend Tahoe Bagel!

Who knew Tahoe had amazing bagels?!? Arrived at 9:00 on a Saturday morning and there was a line out the door. My hunger was insane, and opted to order online, but they weren't taking any orders; so I just remained zen and went with the flow. I waited maybe 30 minutes to put in my order, and about 7 min for it to be ready. The layout inside kind of reminds me of a modern take on Central Perk from Friends. While it's packed your chances of landing a table are still pretty good as there's constant turnover. I ordered the Western and the Back to Life sandwiches, and while both were good, the Back to Life was my absolute favorite. I also ordered an iced matcha, and while it was lackluster, I still give this spot rave reviews overall.

Went there on a Friday around 11am and the line was long. We waited for about 10 min before placing our order. I know this place is known for bagels but I opted for a tri tip sandwich with sourdough. It was overall good, wish it had more broccolini (there was barely any). Friend got bagels and she was happy with hers.

Our first breakfast choice was overly packed with screaming kids and harried parents. We made a beeline to Tahoe Bagel Company. It also had a long line but went fast. Service was quick. Boy, the bagels here are so fresh, soft, chewy and tasty! Very New York. The best I've had in Tahoe. You can see where they make them. I always get the poppy seed or sesame seed bagels, with Everything. It's easier than deciding each time. My nephew said his breakfast sandwich was pretty good. Bagels and coffee. It was a cheaper breakfast than our first stop! PS Clean restrooms.
